Navigation advice

On a website or intranet, a visitor must be able to quickly find what he/she is looking for. Navigation is therefore crucially important. All too often, a website contains masses of information but the visitor is still not able to find what they are looking for. Our consultants have the skills required to separate the main issues from the secondary issues and to organise the largest amounts of complex information.

Once the aims and target audience of the site have been defined, the nature and scope of the information that must be offered on the website is considered. Subsequently, a logical structure is defined for the website and this is known as the navigation. This then results in a functional design as well as a site map that indicates precisely what information will be located where.
