Content Management System (CMS)

puntNL is a critical observer of the content management system market. This comes from the belief that a CMS should not be a goal but a means. In the past we have left a few CMS systems because they did not match up to our wishes. In general, such systems had too many restrictions and the idea was that the technology determined the form. Our vision is that technology expressly serves the form.

As well as this, in our opinion, the unnecessary, unchecked growth in the market has led to price differences that do not necessarily mean comparable quality differences. Or, in other words: many content management systems are unnecessarily costly.
 
A few years ago, we discovered webEdition, a German product written by programmers who once wrote software for Apple. This CMS offered maximum flexibility and that is exactly what we were looking for. Our programmers compare the product to a box of Lego bricks which they can use to build applications, without any restrictions to their own vision.
