Y-Tech building
In the eighties, the Koningin Emma warehouse was converted into the Y-tech commercial centre. Our area is at the back of the building, right above the water.

This water is the location for the comings and goings of all sorts of boats, such as the hydrofoil to IJmuiden and navy frigates and cruise ships that visit the city. But ‘little-life’ also goes on here. Ducks, coots and large families of swans swim past our windows. The cheekiest sometimes walk across the jetty and just come in.
