Online donation module

With an on-line donation module a visitor to a site who wants to make a one-off donation or who wants to become a donor can immediately carry out their wishes.

Whereas before, the visitor would have been asked to print a form, fill it in and post it or they had to be sent a giro form, the on-line donation module offers the option of making an immediate donation via the website. In this way the visitor’s momentary impulse can be immediately translated into positive action.

puntNL has been working with the Cordaid group for years. Memisa decided to have an on-line donation module built into their site in 2000. The results were staggering. Incidental as well as structural donations via the website grew each year. The same applies to Mama Cash, where donations via the website have increased from € 6,000 in 2004 to € 37,000 in 2006.

Reporting module
The charities receive the on-line donations, via a secured server, as a readable e-mail. It is possible to save the content of these e-mails in a database and use a report generator to create a customised report. The report can show, for example, how much money has been received via the internet over a certain period, the number of new donors, the number of donations carried out and so on.
